Package redesign for the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip snack bar by Lärabar.
My goal for this project was to keep it simple but also interesting. The original design stuck out to me as being too simple, and I felt the color scheme did not convey the flavor very well. Another goal that I feel I achieved was to show at a glance that this snack bar was a healthy choice.
I bought, arranged, and shot the ingredients on the front of the package myself with my Canon EOS Rebel T4i. After deciding on the photo I took it into Photoshop and dropped the background, lightened it overall, and dulled the glare on the wrapper so it was less pronounced.
After I put everything together in Illustrator I printed out the die-cut on 300 gsm paper, scored, cut, and taped the final package below.
